BCO: Birders Concerned about the Ocean

BIRDERS CONCERNED ABOUT THE OCEAN   (BCO)

CONCERN:

We are birders, ornithologists and naturalists concerned about the ocean and marine ecosystems (and the planet we leave for our grandchildren's future).

LEARNING:

We need to learn more about the oceans and why our seabirds are changing dramatically in recent years.

ADVOCACY:

We need to understand if any of these changes are damaging and if there is anything we can do to influence them. We may need some form of action, TBD.

COLLABORATION:

We are willing to collaborate with marine biologists and others doing research or taking constructive actions in this area.
